David McNeice (Partner and Global Co-Head of Infrastructure, Construction and Energy at DWF)

David practices in England and Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, with experience working across the MENA region on major infrastructure projects.  David heads up the Construction and Infrastructure team in the UK and Ireland and is the Global Co Head of DWF’s Infrastructure, Construction and Energy practice. David specialises in the NEC form of Contract, and has been seconded to public and private clients alike to assist in administering all forms of the NEC3 or NEC4.  David himself is an Associate Member of the Institution (AMICE). David has worked with some of the UK and Ireland’s largest private clients, and is currently involved in some of the largest infrastructure or major projects in the UK and Ireland.   David is retained to advise on all aspects of construction law, including contract drafting, contract management, negotiation of contracts, settlement of issues and full dispute resolution processes.

Aine McGuinness (Senior Associate, Infrastructure, Construction and Energy at DWF),

Aine is a solicitor in the Construction & Infrastructure team at DWF.  Aine graduated from Queen’s University in Belfast, studied and trained in London with a reputable international law firm and qualified and practiced with the same international practice in the Middle East before relocating back to Ireland. Aine’s practice is broad.  Through her experience in the UK and Northern Ireland, Aine guides clients through pre-action dispute resolution processes and dispute avoidance mechanisms such as confidential negotiations and mediations.  This also includes providing guidance on the management of construction contracts, in particular JCT and NEC. Where disputes are unavoidable, Aine has helped clients to navigate the adjudication, litigation (including TCC Court) and / or arbitration process.
