North West companies are being given the exciting opportunity to be part of a UK Innovate funded programme with Ulster University that will help SME’S on their digital journey in the Smart Manufacturing Data Hub (SMDH) Programme.
The SMDH will work with you to help you realise the advantages you can get by incorporating DATA into your decision making in your factory. We will assist you to gather data with the installation of equipment to help you get started , and then we will be on hand to guide you through your data journey , helping to analyse and sort your data. These steps will help embed skills in your company to facilitate data driven development of your manufacturing and management processes and will give you potentially a unique insight into the working of your company as represented by the data you generate. When you have established a data stream in your company the project will also be on hand to co-fund the further development of your work with a Challenge fund project (Circa £5 Million in funding to assist companies on a data project)
The development of this program is UK wide and NI companies will be the first to take advantage of this opportunity. If you are interested in finding out more, please see the attached presentation Data Hub Presentation Company Intro final and the University of Ulster have invited companies along to a workshop at the Ulster University Magee Campus on July 4th.
