Global thought leaders and experts in business and scaling are set to converge in Belfast later this year for the first-ever ScaleX™ Summit, a one-day conference to inspire, connect and enable company business leaders and founders to take their businesses to the next level.

The Simple Scaling team, known for their work in enabling ambitious leaders of SMEs to scale with purpose, are the visionaries behind the summit.

Scheduled for November 15 at Belfast ICC, this event expects to unite over 500 entrepreneurs and business leaders to connect and explore the latest industry trends, challenges and best practices that are shaping the business world today.

Billed as “Ireland’s first dedicated scaling summit”, esteemed keynote speakers will deliver thought-provoking sessions on topics including the future of hyper sales growth, sustainability for greater profitability and impact, visionary leadership for long-term success, amplifying growth and the dynamic impact of scaling and investment, the power of high-performing teams, ascending to greatness by mastering your mindset, and much more.

Co-founder Brendan McGurgan said: “The disproportionate but hugely positive impact of SME scaling businesses is far reaching, from economic growth and productivity to better cultures and employment opportunities. Sadly, the latest statistics in the UK suggest that less than 1% of the 5.7m SMEs are scaling. A mere 34,000 contribute half of the UK’s £2 trillion total SME revenue. Aligned to our own purpose,  ScaleX Summit is an opportunity for ambitious business leaders to be inspired to defy the norm and to create flourishing, scalable businesses that contribute positively to their communities, society and the wider economy. This summit offers ambitious leaders the chance to learn from the industry’s best, propelling their journey towards becoming part of that aspirational 1%.”

Co-founder Claire Colvin added: “Our vision is clear: we aim to position this small island as a global scaling powerhouse. It is our purpose to lay a solid foundation for both the current and the next generation of ambitious entrepreneurs and business leaders by providing them with the blueprint for scaling. Like the proverb says, we’re planting trees under whose shade we may never sit, and it is this foundation that creates great societies and communities. The ScaleX Summit is a significant step in this direction. For business leaders, attending the ScaleX Summit is not just a decision, it’s a defining moment – it’s where they will find insights, connections and tools to transform their businesses and join the elite circle of successful scale-ups.”

Among the headline speakers announced for the event are Professor Damian Hughes, author of High Performance: Lessons from the Best on Becoming Your Best, the Sunday Times bestselling book that uncovers the eight essential habits of the world’s leading sportspeople, coaches and entrepreneurs.

From Thinkers50, Marga Hoek, author of Trillion Dollar Shift, the first-ever business book on the opportunities for businesses who align with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
