Registrations are now open for the new AMIC ScaleSmart Advanced Manufacturing Skills Programme, delivered from the recently opened AMIC Factory of the Future.
As Northern Ireland’s newest innovation centre, AMIC is now welcoming SMEs to access practical, industry-focused training delivered by our expert trainers using world-class facilities, equipment and technologies. The programme has been designed to help manufacturers build future-ready capabilities in areas including digital manufacturing, robotics, sustainability, photonics, polymers, composites and innovation.
Funding Available for SMEs
Eligible Northern Ireland SMEs can access up to £5,000 funding towards this training through the Enhanced Investment Zone Advance SME programme. Led by the Department for the Economy NI and funded by the UK Government, Advance SME is designed to help businesses in the Advanced Manufacturing sector develop workforce capability, adopt new technologies, improve productivity and support future growth.
Important Deadline
To be considered for funded places, SMEs must register their interest by 21 September.
Places are limited, with just 15 places available per course, and we are already seeing strong levels of interest. Early registration is therefore strongly encouraged.
