Careers West 2026 takes place at Omagh Leisure Complex on Tuesday 13th October, from 10.30am to 4.30pm, and organisations across the region are being invited to register for an exhibitor stand.

Careers West is run as part of the Strule Shared Education Campus Programme, and last year’s event was a big success, with almost 700 young people from schools across the region attending to meet employers from a wide range of sectors. Organisers hope to build on that this year, with an eye on the exhibition becoming a fixed date on the calendar once the new Strule campus is fully operational in September 2028.

The event gives organisations and employers the chance to engage with hundreds of young people from multiple schools in one room, discussing future opportunities and the skills and experiences that will help them build their careers.

For manufacturers, events like this are a direct line to the next generation of engineers, technicians and skilled operators, at exactly the stage where career choices are still being shaped. With skills gaps remaining a persistent challenge across the sector, getting in front of hundreds of students in one room is hard to beat.

Demand for stands is expected to be high, so organisers are encouraging early registration to avoid missing out.
