Northern Ireland manufacturers are being encouraged to position themselves at the centre of global supply chain opportunities as Belfast prepares to host the inaugural Advanced Technology & Manufacturing Summit (ATMS) in February 2027.

Taking place at ICC Belfast on 2–3 February 2027, the summit will bring together more than 600 international industry leaders, OEMs, suppliers, innovators and decision-makers from across the aerospace, maritime and space sectors.

Organised by advanced business events (abe), alongside BCI Aerospace and supported by NI Space, the event combines a high-level conference programme with structured B2B matchmaking, workshops and exhibition opportunities designed to create tangible commercial connections.

The summit will focus on a number of major themes shaping the future of advanced manufacturing and industrial capability, including:

  • Building more competitive and robust supply chains in the UK
  • AI and advanced manufacturing: risk versus reward
  • Strengthening cybersecurity resilience
  • Workforce challenges and skills development
  • Driving sustainable growth through decarbonisation and innovation
  • Dual-use and dual-sovereign capability

The wider programme will also explore digitalisation, materials innovation, advanced manufacturing technologies and the growing intersection between resilience, security and industrial competitiveness.

For Northern Ireland companies, the event represents a significant opportunity to engage directly with international primes, Tier 1 contractors and procurement teams while showcasing local capability on a global stage.

Exhibition and sponsorship packages range from startup participation opportunities through to major sponsorship options, with all exhibitors gaining access to the B2B meeting platform, conference sessions and networking events.

Manufacturing NI will work alongside organisers over the coming months to promote the event across the local manufacturing base, while confirmed participant lists and further programme announcements are expected later this year.
