Trailblazer BBQ

Trailblazer BBQ was invented and founded by Lester Manley, a Northern Ireland native with a career dedicated to helping clients worldwide build strong brand assets. Known for bringing innovation to organisations, Lester has led numerous pioneering projects, resulting in several world-first products and services.

The idea for Trailblazer BBQ emerged unexpectedly. While volunteering at a church summer youth camp, Lester faced the challenge of catering for over 200 people on a beach as night fell and the tide came in. Recognising the need for a fast, reliable BBQ solution in tough conditions, Lester was inspired to create one himself.

By the following summer, with no intentions beyond the camp, Lester developed the first Trailblazer BBQ—setting the foundation for a brand that has since become synonymous with robust and versatile outdoor grilling.
