RTD Crawford

RTD Crawford Ltd was established in Lisbellaw, County Fermanagh in 1978 by Ronnie Crawford, initially operating with a single employee who managed every stage of processing and delivery. Guided by a clear vision to produce high-quality timber products and supported by sustained investment in modern equipment, the company grew steadily from its modest beginnings to become a market leader.

In 1996, RTD Crawford expanded operations with the opening of a second site at the Port of Belfast, providing strategic access to imported materials and greater control over supply. A major milestone followed in 2004 with the development of a new milling facility at Lisbellaw, creating one of Europe’s most modern purpose-built timber mills. This expansion introduced high-quality wood shavings for animal bedding and environmentally friendly Bio Heat Logs to the product range.

More recently, RTD Crawford has invested significantly in timber recycling at its Belfast site and installed a state-of-the-art timber treatment centre at its Lisbellaw headquarters, reinforcing its commitment to innovation, efficiency and sustainability.
