Founded in 1963 by Michael Nugent, NUGENT is a second-generation family-owned mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineering business headquartered in Pomeroy, Co. Tyrone, with additional offices in Belfast and Dublin. Over six decades the company has grown into a leading MEP contractor, delivering large-scale, complex engineering projects across Great Britain, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

NUGENT’s services span mechanical and electrical engineering, design and build, digital construction using BIM, and offsite manufacturing (OSM) through its own dedicated factory, where modern methods of construction and lean techniques support efficient, first-class project delivery. The company also provides facilities management services, drawing on more than 25 years’ experience in planned preventative maintenance, remedial and reactive works, alongside a specialist projects division for bespoke and niche commercial work.
