Exact Group

The Exact Group, founded in 2007 by Stephen and Marie Cromie, has grown into a highly regarded engineering business. Drawing on his extensive industry experience, Stephen built the company from its origins in 1999, initially equipping fast food chains. In 2007, he expanded into conventional milling and turning with fabrication capabilities, adding an engine refurbishment shop in 2009.

In 2013, recognising the growing demand for scalable, high-precision engineering solutions, Stephen established Exact CNC, focusing on CNC milling and turning. Throughout this journey, Marie’s expertise in finance and business management has been instrumental in the success of the Group.

Today, the Exact Group operates from a state-of-the-art 72,000 sq. ft. facility near Newry’s Carnbane Industrial area. Leveraging lean methodologies and efficiency modelling, the organisation maximises its operational capacity, serving clients across Ireland and beyond, with easy access to Belfast and Dublin.
