Europa Foods, founded in 1995 by lifelong friends Brian Kelly and William Bamford, has a story deeply rooted in their friendship and shared ambitions. Their journey began when they recognized that their current professional paths were no longer fulfilling, prompting them to take a leap of faith and establish Europa Foods.

Brian and William, who had shared countless family holidays, nights out, and even played on the same rugby team, combined their unique expertise to create the company. William brought 25 years of experience in the food industry, while Brian contributed 21 years in finance, forming a perfect partnership supported by their strong work ethic.

Identifying a gap in the market as larger companies scaled back services to smaller businesses, they set out to supply local retail, catering, and wholesale companies with high-quality products, offering flexible and personalized service. These core values continue to define Europa Foods nearly 30 years later.

From its humble beginnings in a single unit with a ten-year-old van and no employees, the business has steadily expanded. Today, Europa Foods employs a dedicated team of 20 professionals and boasts an impressive annual turnover exceeding £8.5 million. Their enduring success stands as a testament to their vision, dedication, and commitment to serving customers with excellence.
