Currie Engineering

Currie Engineering has been in business for over 30 years, originally starting as a jobbing shop serving local industries. The company quickly progressed into bespoke machine building, designing and manufacturing intricate machinery for electronics and medical companies such as AVX, Seagate, and Galen Pharmaceuticals. Following the decline in demand for machine building after 9/11, Currie Engineering diversified into subcontract precision engineering.

Since then, the business and customer base have grown steadily. A sustained investment program in machinery and personnel has resulted in a modern machine shop staffed by a skilled and dedicated workforce. Today, the customer base includes prominent companies such as Howden Axial Fans, Caterpillar, Crossland Tankers, CDE, and many smaller local firms. Currie Engineering holds ISO 9001:2015 certification, reflecting the company’s commitment to producing high-quality products at competitive prices.
