This event will outline the key messages from industry summarised through the development of the roadmap, by experts from Cambridge University’s Institute for Manufacturing. The formal publication of the roadmap is an opportunity for us all to think how we may use this information to better inform our decisions and next steps in terms of advancing the manufacturing sector’s technology priorities for Northern Ireland. This roadmap belongs to the manufacturing companies of Northern Ireland and in that sense, this formal launch session will allow us all to consider our next collaborative steps to facilitate industrial leadership and engagement for technology development that will bring benefits to NI companies.
Delegates will have the opportunity to hear from members of the Roadmap Steering Group, the AMIC Leadership team, Prof Paul Maropoulos – AMIC Director, Sam Turner – Interim CEO and John Irwin – Industry Board Chair, as well as invited industry panellists. You are encouraged to note any questions you may have for consideration during the panel question-and-answer session. Feedback received will also be used to inform future AMIC stakeholder sessions.
