When Disaster Strikes – How to secure your company’s future when the unexpected happens
Four out of five businesses that suffer a major, unplanned event never reopen or close with 18 months. This doesn’t have to be your firm, however, and to explain how, Manufacturing Northern Ireland is joining with Willis Insurance and Risk Management for a special event next month.
The breakfast seminar, to be held at Seagoe Hotel, Portadown on Thursday 22nd March will focus on the key steps business owners, Finance Directors and Health and Safety Managers can take to protect the future of their companies in the wake of a disaster.
Unexpected and devastating events can take many forms such as fire, theft or extreme weather.
This interactive seminar will focus on how businesses can:
- Cope with disruptive events;
- Restore essential services within a timeframe right for the company and its customers;
- Protect their brand and reputation.
The session will be useful if you’ve ever asked how your company would react following:
- Loss of customer/contract;
- Loss of supplier;
- A major fire;
- IT failure;
- Loss of key employees.
With advice on how to approach the replacement of damaged, stolen or lost assets, the re-instatement of buildings and options around alternative trading arrangements, the seminar aims to lay the foundation for the formation of a robust business continuity plan.
