STEM: Making Savings In Energy, Waste And Water
The STEM Project (Sustainable Together through Environmental Management) is a two year project, part financed by the European ’s INTERREG IVA Cross Border Programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body. It is designed to work with business, across 11 cross border Council areas, to help identify cost savings in Energy, Waste and Water. They do this was helping businesses implement Environmental Management Systems (EMS) with the STEM Team helping you manage and funding the process right through to the audit stage in the first year whether it is ISO 14001 or BS 8555.
As part of the Programme, STEM are running a series of industrial visits in November and December which will help you understand how industry can make changes and improve profitability.
