Call For Evidence On ETS Trading Scheme/Carbon Floor Pricing
The Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills (Vince Cable) has issued call for evidence in relation to implementation of measures to reduce the impact of policy on the costs of electricity for the most electricity intensive industries. This would begin in 2013 and be worth around £250m over the current spending review period.
It is extremely important that NI manufacturing companies make every effort to provide full responses to the questions asked and back this with robust evidence. The information gleaned will be the basis of the criteria that BIS will use to decide who will be eligible for compensation. Response packs are available on request from firstname.lastname@example.org
